Dear Rosemarie and family. I was heartbroken to hear the sad news of your beloved daughter Krista passing away after her tragic accident. I remember you talking about her and all the wonderful time you shared with her and your family. Reading her obituary I was struck by how much light she brought into the world. I truly believe her light will forever be present in the hearts and souls for all that were touched by her light. May your warm memories help to sustain you all during this difficult time. Krista was a person I very much admired. Aside from her striking appearance, she possessed ONLY good qualities – kind, deeply – caring, generous, warm hearted, exuberant, oh so positive, strong and determined, and nurturing. Krista was a rarity in this world and her light remains. I will miss her. With my heartfelt condolences to Rosemary, Greg, Alexi, Ava, Alana, Cory, and Lucinda.

I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Krista as she was a trusted resource whom I could refer clients to who needed her expertise. Her bright and infectious smile lit up a room; and her calm and caring disposition always providing a warm invitation to connect. She spoke often of her beautiful daughters, and they were certainly the light and loves of her life. I am so grateful our paths crossed, and I will surely miss our random chats. Your heart always served as your compass, and it was always in the right place. Rest easy dear Krista, may you be at peace. I will continue to keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Krista you were an amazing cousin an amazing person so full of life a great mom and sister and daughter. We were at a family birthday party on a beautiful September day. I went outside and Krista was sitting on the front deck. We sat and talked for awhile sharing thoughts about love of sunshine and the beauty of nature. I pray for her as well as her family many times a day

I was so saddened to hear of this tragedy. I remember Krista for her ease extending genuine kindness to everyone in our high school class and for her sweet disposition. My sincere condolences to all her loved ones, including former BHS classmates who remained close with her.

Krista was, by far, the kindest person in our grade. Even though we weren't close friends, whenever I saw her (even a year ago when we ran into each other) she always greeted me with a bright smile and a sincere interest. I know she was like this to everyone. To have that effect on everyone you meet is truly an incredible quality. I can only imagine her daughters will grow up with that same wonderful quality. I told my high school students about her today and told them, if, 25 years after you graduate, people still remember you as the absolutely nicest person they've ever met, you have done something right with your life. My thoughts go out to all of you. I am truly heartbroken to lose beautiful, vibrant Krista. My love and prayers go to her beautiful daughters and entire family. We were graduate students together at SVA, where Krista lit up the room, wherever she was, with her beauty, and her warm, engaging personality. Krista was the most gorgeous (inside and out, optimistic, empathic, talented, vivacious, full of life woman I know. Her fortunate patients gained hope, and began healing quickly, with her remarkable attunement to them, and her kind care. Krista is truly irreplaceable. I will miss her terribly.
