I met Patrick probably 35-40 years ago and had great respect for his work ethic and his generosity. Always a big smile on his face along with a positive attitude! The Metzdorf family is truly sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in peace!!

I went to school with Patrick and hung out with him often back then. I hadn’t seen him in many years. A memory of the last time I had seen him comes to mind. I had been in Burlington visiting family when we ran into one another. Patrick gave me the biggest smile and hug. It was as if time had stood still and we were still back in the good ole days. As if not a minute had gone by. Laughing and reminiscing. Patrick was a great guy. He will be missed. May his kindness live on in others. RIP

I was shocked to hear of Patrick's passing. Patrick ate meals here at The Salvation Army. Always very kind and helpful. He has helped us carry food and gifts. This past fall he helped sort our big donation of food. Patrick always had a kind word to share. He will be missed by us all here. My condolences to all his family.
