I am so sorry to hear about your terrible loss. I have been trying to contact him since his birthday last year but his phone was off. I tried again today to wish him a happy birthday and had no luck. So I googled him hoping to find a new number and my heart was broken to see this page. I’m so sorry, I live far away now and was not aware. But Dick and I had been very close for decades now…. Since 2006. He always came into honey dew while i was working and we had some of the greatest conversations. He was full of so much happiness and great memories. He also was the one who drove me to the hospital when I went into labor (both times) with my son Jayden. He is 16 years old now and I wanted to come visit you. I’m so sorry I am too late. If someone knows where his grave is, please reach out to me, I’d love to visit with my son and bring flowers. He was the nicest, most gentle and kind soul I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will never forget you and all the time we spent together. We had so many good memories together! And ur favorite… “after you gentlemen with the new Cadillac” lol he was too funny. I love you Richard and I alway will. I still have pictures of you and Jayden on your train set in the basement… one of your pride and joys. I also included on of your favorite pictures of mama. You had the best picture in your home office. I still remember going with u to Brockton to pick her up. What a great memory we had that day… then off to castle island for hot dogs and airplanes n to big boy for donuts and coffee. we had so many great times together and I will never forget you and all we did. I love you and i always will. I pray you are at peace.

A great grandfather. I’ll never forget the man who introduced me to the Vanilla Coke and the raspberry lime ricky at the Brighams ice cream shop next to the Bel-Arl office. Memories never die
