Maura was a great friend, I don’t know anyone more dedicated to her husband and family and she will be missed by many. We had fun times growing up in Cambridge and marching in the drill team and more recently meeting for lunch or drinks to catch up with each other! Always got an update on her many siblings, her job, and her travels. Maura handled her cancer with grace and ease and privately, she never let it dictate her life and lived her life fully. Maura was one of a kind!

Alan, and the Brown family, so sadden by the loss of Maura. We had re-connected years back and reminiscing about grammar school, St. John's drill team and of course St. Peter's HS. Maura was the type if you hadn't seen her in a long time you could pick up where you left off. Shiela Dudley Demers

To the Browne Family I am so sorry and sadden to hear about Maura's passing. I have known Maura and her family since the 5th grade. She was a big part of my childhood growing up in Cambridge. Maura was like a sister to me. We spend lots of time together having fun in places like Rindge Park's tennis courts, Notre Dame's school yard and of course, I can't forget the St. John's drill team. While life took us in different places, Maura always made it a point to stay in touch. Just a few years ago, I had lunch with Maura. We reminisced about the old times and we laughed and enjoyed each other's company as if time had not passed. I am glad to have known Maura and I will never forget her. My condolences go to her entire family and her husband. May god keep Maura in his eternal love.

I am so sorry to hear about my best friend Maura so sorry for your loss I just spent time with her on Xmas I came back from Vegas I always tried to see this wonderful woman every time I came home she was always there for me she helped me meet my husband 47 years ago she was one of a kind. She was my first roommate in our first apartment together and we went to the Bahamas together I will never forget you girl I will miss you love Lauren Morrison

I was very much saddened to hear of Maura's death, and want to send condolences to Alan and to her sisters Kate, Peg, Lisa and brothers Matt and Sean and all their families as well as to her stepmother Anne. I will always remember Maura as a strong and kindly presence. It was my privilege to know her as my first cousin. It is a comfort to think that she has now joined her father, Jack, and brother Tommy as well as all our deceased loved ones. May Maura rest in peace, and send her blessing to all who mourne her.
