Arthur E. Landry II, a man of quiet strength passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30th at Lowell General Hospital.
Born into a bustling household of six siblings, Arthur embraced his role as a caretaker from an early age. Despite the challenges life presented, he remained steadfast in his commitment to his family, particularly to his younger brothers who he helped raise with unwavering love and guidance.
Arthur’s quiet demeanor belied a fierce work ethic and a passion for life’s simple pleasures. He found solace and joy in the company of animals, nurturing a deep connection with nature throughout his life, along with being a enthusiastic fan of Elvis Presley. His daughters were the center of his world and he cherished every moment spent with them, weathering life’s storms with grace and dignity.
Throughout his journey, Arthur never lost his sense of adventure, often tagging along with his siblings on their escapades, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. His quiet presence and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Landry and a brother, Joseph Landry.
Arthur is survived by his beloved daughters, Toni Landry, and Jennifer Dodge and step-daughter Heather Devlin, five grand-children, his loving mother, Dolores Landry, his adoring siblings, Susan Landry Robinson and her husband Bob of Greenwood, AR., Thomas Landry of Haverhill, MA., Robert Landry and his wife Line of Andover, MA., William Landry of Burlington, MA., and Jackie Landry Jones and her husband Bob of Tewksbury, MA., as well as many nieces and nephews.
At the family's request, funeral services will be private.
