Obituary of Carla Albertelli

Carla Albertelli, age 69, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Cambridge, MA on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.    

Born in Boston, MA on June 15, 1954, she was the first daughter of the late Wallace B. and Claire L. (Pavey) Albertelli.  Carla was raised in Burlington, and graduated from Burlington High School, Class of 1972.  She then went on to graduate from University of Massachusetts Lowell, with a bachelor of arts degree. 

Carla was a lover of all things art.  She enjoyed photography, painting, and even playing the piano in her free time.  There was no artistic avenue that didn’t speak to her; whether it was singing in her college choir, acting in a musical theater production, or creating beautiful canvas paintings, you could always count on Carla to share her unending creativity with the world.  She was also a devoted Beatles fan, and attended a concert of theirs in 1966.  This concert was so special to her she kept her ticket stub, and only let a lucky few see it over the years.

Surviving Carla is her brother, Todd Albertelli and his wife Tracy of Merrimack, NH; her niece and nephews, Jill Doucette of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Christopher Albertelli of Dover, NH, and Michael Albertelli of Billerica.

Carla was the beloved sister of the late Alma Doucette, and Dale Albertelli, and dear aunt of the late Lauren Doucette.
