I am shocked and supersad to just learn now that Mike passed away. He and I were thick as thieves at Northeastern. We studied Economics but spent way more time laughing and talking about music, TV shows, and it was Mike who got me to appreciate the promotional aspect of pro wrestling more than anyone. He would do all the nicknames and the voices of Mean Gene, Ric Flair, and well, pretty much everyone. We cracked each other up so much. He invited me to the house on the Cape in 86 and 88 and in the 90s, we briefly reconnected when he wrote me with such pride that he had gotten married and had a baby boy. By then, I was moving to California, and well, I am sad to write we lost touch as life got busy, we moved on, and before I knew it, 30 years have passed. I loved the 5-minute movies which gave me a glimpse of his life and boy do I remember his awesome, infectious laugh. Truly a beautiful man - his kindness, humor, and sense of fun belied his Italian/Irish heritage which made him a great epitome of Medford/Boston and all of its potential. Even though it's been so long, I will miss him and let it be a lesson to us all to reach out to those you love and keep those relationships as close as you can, because they don't last forever. RIP - Rick O'Herron (now in Oakland, CA)

Deeply sad to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was a caring guy that made an impression on you. I loved when he would go into the high pitched voice and start to imitate his mother, he was hilarious. He went all out for his clients and would always go the extra mile to get an issue resolved for that client. I am a better person for having known you, Mike. There is another angel who is now in heaven. Bless you and your family.

Jr. and Shelley, I am a text or call away if you need me. Mike was a kind and caring person that brought a lot of joy to everyone he came in contact. He was the ultimate good sport as he was always willing to laugh at himself if it made someone else laugh. You could always see how much he cared for you both through his words and actions. I will miss bumping into him in the parking lot or the building 3 lobby and listening to his stories. Even if there were times, I was in a rush to get to my bathroom after a long commute and he would stop me for 20 minutes. RIP my friend!

Truely a Wonderful, Kind, and Generous Soul. Who put family first above all else. With a joke handy and a constant smile to brighten up your day. Mike was a true Bostonian and fellow Co- Worker in the Marlborough Office. We shared many memories about our childhood adventures and our shared passion for Boston Sports. His father "Connie" much like my own Dad grew up in Somerville too. The stories Mike would tell would have us both in stitches. To the point where we would both get told to "quiet down" lest we get kicked off the office floor for causing a Ruckus : )
Personally - I had the distinct pleasure of being Mike's Business Travel Companion on his very first Client visit.to FL.
He would call to check in with his family each day and to ensure them all was well. And true to form - he would put me on speaker and openly make fun of my So-Called "Expert Bostonian Driving Skills". Or how Finance would "frown" on us for blowing up our meal plan budget on just one Dinner. Or how I highjacked him from his Hotel Room three miles away and made him stay in the same Hotel that I was residing in. The whole time - Mike would just say - No matter what I'm blaming you for everything! LOL I will never forget you Mikey!
May the Lord hold you and your Loving Family in his Warm Embrace.
May you Rest in Heavenly Peace.

I was a client of Mikes. I enjoyed working with him, and very much enjoyed his stories, he was very passionate. Mike found out my husband went to Arkansas and was a Razorback fan, and that we followed the Houston Texans football team. He would follow both teams and reach out to me to discuss the outcome of the games. If was a pleasure to have known him, and he will be missed. Rest in Peace!

Mike, you were a light, a friend, and always brought a smile every time I saw your name pop up in Webex. Crazy how work can bring people together who may not have ever met otherwise, and truly become friends. I'll miss you friend, and may your family find peace.

YOU
If every person who you touched in your lifetime were to light up on a map, it would create the most beautiful network you could ever have imagined. Throw in the strangers you were kind to, the people you made laugh or those who you inspired along their life journey and that star-bright network of YOU is truly a sight to behold. You were SO much more than you thought you were, Mike. You did SO much more than you realized. You created a shining, glittering pathway of positivity that you did not even know about. What a person you were, Mike McGreal. What a person, indeed.
You were such a bright light, Mike. You touched my life in such a way that will never be dimmed. The essence of you truly radiated outward and was contagious. I see your spirit in all things and will constantly strive to mirror the person you were.
May you soar on the wings of angels, my dear friend, and rest in eternal peace.
