Obituary of Jeffrey Joseph Schultz
Jeffrey Schultz, 75, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at his home on April 5, 2024.
Jeffrey was born in Cambridge, the son of the late Stanislaw and Delia (Ambrose) Schultz. He lost his sense of sight at the age of 12 and navigated the world with unique grace, communicating his emotions through the rhythm of his foot, the melodies of music and the warmth of his affectionate lean.
Through his love of music, especially the joyous tunes of Christmas, Jeffrey found solace and expression. His mood was a symphony, his song choice a testament to the inner melodies of his heart. His passion extended to his cherished Bose radio, a faithful companion that filled his world with harmonious notes.
Jeffrey had an insatiable appetite for life. He loved the culinary delights of ice cream cake, the camaraderie of family gatherings and the simple pleasures of dining out. His love of movies and parks enriched his world with stories and imagination.
Independence was Jeffrey’s hallmark, made possible by the unwavering support of his loving family and the dedicated personnel of his group home, whom he regarded as his extended family. With their assistance, he traversed the world on his terms, exploring its wonders and embracing its offerings with unbridled enthusiasm.
He was predeceased by his parents as well as a brother, Paul Schutlz
