He grew up in Billerica and was a graduate of Billerica High School and then Northeastern University.  He started his career working for Leland Construction. Bob then opened his own business, R.H. Jalbert Inc., installing residential and commercial concrete foundations.  He ran the company for 25 years. Bob and Jean were introduced by friends at Nutting’s Lake in Billerica. They have been together for over 70 years and married for 69 years.

Bob’s life revolved around his wife and their seven children.  He was a strong provider and great role model.  He believed in the values of community service, empathy, kindness, pride, and compassion.

He lived his life making unselfish decisions, brightening the lives of others, and loving his family.  He will be missed, but a little of Bob will live on in the hearts and minds of all his family.
