Obituary of Heinz Schlosser

Heinz E. Schlosser, a long-time resident of Burlington, passed way at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Monday evening, November 13, 2006. The beloved husband of Anneliese (Fetzner) for 47 years, he was 81 years old. Mr. Schlosser was raised and educated in Hamburg Germany. He was the son of the late Fritc and Emmy Schlosser. Mr. Schlosser came to the United States in 1955. He was employed as an Engineer and retired from AVCO in Wilmington where he worked for 15 years. Mr. Schlosser was a man of great intellect. He enjoyed reading and working on inventions both personally and professionally. When he set his mind to a project there was nothing he couldn’t do. He was an active member of the German Club in Walpole. Mr. Schlosser and his wife loved to travel. They took cruises, visited their son in California and took many trips back to Germany where he enjoyed visiting his old hometown. Mr. Schlosser was a family man who was devoted to his wife, his children, and grandchildren. Mr. Schlosser is the beloved husband of Anneliese (Fetzner). He is the loving father of Hans-Peter Schlosser of Newport Beach, CA and Heidi Sargent & her husband Thomas of Andover. He is the grandfather of Zachry and Tyler Sargent. Funeral Services were private.
