As a 16 year old I had the pleasure of working with Tom at Francis Wyman as a summer helper. Every custodian was assigned a kid and I lucked out by getting him as mine. We ended up working together for the next 5-6 years at the school, his work site with his bobcat, and even his house. He even showed me the ropes of driving a stick shift car. Tom started as someone that was a figure of authority and became someone I considered a good friend and mentor. Heaven gained a great man in Tom, I hope you’re enjoying some orange Pall Malls in paradise my friend!
