I am a friend of James Rose. I met steve threw Jim. I had an HO train Layout in my basement and Steve and myself spent a day removing the whole display. Steve was amazed at the detail of the layout. He was very careful removing All the buildings and trackwork. I was fortunate to meet him, even though it was only for one day. I am sorry for your loss. He was truly a great person, he will surely be missed. My regards to Family and Friends, Ron.

We were very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a true friend, and co-worker at Polaroid. He was a rare person, and was very loyal and dedicated to Polaroid. When I had the occasion to walk through W-4 with Steve after it closed, it was evident how emotionally attached he was to the old Polaroid. He and his wife were good friends, and we wish to express our sincere condolences to his wife and family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Steve. I had the privilege of working with him for a number of years in the Polaroid W4 R&D labs. He was one of the brightest, hard working people I met at Polaroid and was always great to be with. The W4 reunions won’t be the same without him.

We had the joy of working and being friends with Steve during our years of working at Polaroid. He was a wonderful person and a very special friend. During our years of work in building W-4 he was always there with a smile and at least one or two wonderful stories to share. After we all retired from Polaroid Steve seemed to have as his mission keeping us all in touch with each other as well as keeping us up to date with all that was happening at the former Polaroid site and especially our former home of W-4. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family as he was a very special person that we feel blessed to have had him as our friend. Steve will be missed every minute of each and every day by us all.

Dear Steve, you were one of those rare people who had the gift of walking into a room and brighten the whole day for everyone. Your stories were looked forward to because they made us all laugh an feel good about ourselves and others.
You shared and you cared about us all.
You also taught us to care about each other as family. I look back and hope I can learn to be half the man you lived to be.
God Bless You "CAPTAIN"

Sorry to read of Steve's passing. I started working with Steve in W3 Pack Film. We both end up in W4. I have many great memories of Steve. We talked about trains while working OT. It won't be the same going to the local Train Shows, in my heart I will always see Steve there. I looked forward to the W4 breakfast that Steve and Dave Voto put together. Steve will be miss by many W4 alumni.
