I remember being a flower girl in your wedding. You and my mother making the most incredible dresses! I remember cutting through your back yard to visit my best friend over the rock wall. I remember the willow tree in your back yard and the parties under its shade. I remember how kind you were..Always! I remember jumping up and down on my bed with you while watching the patriots win the Super Bowl, I remember you being there for all of us Always. I learned so much from you growing up. I learned from you that courage isn’t the absence of fear or a display of power. I witnessed true courage in the face of horrendous painful exhausting afflictions you suffered…. Auburn over and over and over for years…so much so that it inspired change in the people around you…including Uncle Tom! I already miss you! But rest assured the love and lessons go on in each of us..

Elaine truly lived her faith. She was unfailingly kind and gracious , adding her light and beauty to every gathering. She was strong and uncomplaining in the face of adversity as always there for others despite her own struggles. What a beautiful example of a life well lived. Though we will miss her, we are happy she is home and beyond the suffering of this world. Love Susan Brown

Elaine was a beautiful lady I met for the first time in 2012 when I married her nephew Christian Brown. She welcomed me into the family and was always loving, kind and caring. Elaine had a presence that could light up a room, and you knew that you felt special. I will remember her most for her great faith in Jesus Christ, and her kind & loving spirit . Like the apostle Paul , Elaine ran the race, kept the faith of the high calling in Christ Jesus and has gained her eternal reward! Heaven gained an earth angel…

I was 12 years old when I met Elaine, or Mrs. Kelley. She was bright, sunny, smiling, beautiful, and an elegant woman. She was always so nice to me and complimented me all the time, making a typical insecure teenager feel pretty and liked. Over the years, I would see her walking her dog and stop and chat or on her porch when I walked by. She was a fixture in Maine, who I always enjoyed seeing. She was a true gem. My parents feel the same way about Elaine. Her memory will endure and she definitely made an impact on me. So much love to the Kelley family.
