Anthony Salvatore "Tony" Santullo Obituary

Anthony Salvatore Santullo, of Billerica, formerly of Burlington and Woburn, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 15, 2024, surrounded by loving family.  He was born, July 14, 1938, in Boston to the late Anthony and Theresa Santullo. He spent his childhood years in Somerville and Medford, eventually moving and settling with his parents in Burlington. Tony was a 1957 graduate of Burlington High School, where he was also a member of the high school football team under Coach Roache.


 


After graduation, Tony went on to be a prominent builder on the North Shore, New Hampshire, and Maine. Right up until his final days, Tony was still involved in day-to-day building activities. His first building endeavor, along with his mother, was the construction of the first and currently only car wash in Burlington. In all his building endeavors, Tony valued hard work, integrity, and a job well done. Tony leaves behind a legacy of beautiful homes, developments, and restored historical sites that he built. Tony was a person of many talents and enjoyed all aspects of life and current events. He was most especially proud and well known for his personal hand constructed stone walls and tending his robust garden, which he shared with numerous family and friends. Tony was a lifetime member of the Elks in Billerica.


 


Tony was the beloved husband of the late Jean (Flammia) Finn-Santullo, and her children Lisa Finn of Burlington, Jay Finn and his wife Stephanie of Woburn, and the late Kristin Finn of Woburn. He is survived by his brother Philip Santullo of Maine. He was the loving father of Anthony Santullo and his wife Jane of Burlington, Denise Eaton and her husband Robert of Reading, John Santullo and his wife Linda of Woburn, Maria Pagnini of Billerica, Theresa Santullo of Burlington, and Michael Santullo and his wife Jacki of Woburn. He was the former husband of Phyllis Santullo of Burlington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.


 


Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, Burlington, MA, on Thursday, November 21, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated at the St. Margaret Church in St. Veronica Parish, 111 Winn Street, Burlington MA at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with interment at Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington MA.
