I am so blessed to have been friends with Karen for over 60 years. We had many wonderful days together when we were young. We always stayed in touch, even though we were miles apart. Making sure to call each other on our birthdays. I have many wonderful memories, but my fondest is hanging out in the family room at my house listening to records. Our favorite album was "Tea For the Tiller Man" by Cat Stevens. I always think of Karen when I hear that song.
Karen was a blessing to all.
My love and deepest sympathies to the family.

She was the most beloved person I’ve ever met, and so kind to me and my parents and everyone around her. She was giving and gracious and loving, I will never forget Karen, and I hope she’s resting in the sweetest peace.

Karen (sister-in-law to my daughter Leslie) was my bowling buddy for years. At one point, Karen, Leslie and Patty were all pregnant at the same time…our team name became the “M” squad. It was the best bowling season, so much fun watching these women who showed up every week, to bowl, right up to the time of delivery! Amazing!
I remember the many times we were together for all the special occaisions that came up year after year. I remember Karen as always smiling in her quiet and unassuming way. I remember Karen as always being happy to see me whenever we would meet in our later years. Now I will always remember Karen in the memories I have of her.
To her family, my sincere sympathy to all of you. I will pray that our Lord will grant perpetual light to shine upon her and that she will forever rest in peace in His loving embrace.
