My deepest condolences to the family. Mrs. Saxe was one of the most memorable teachers I have ever had. As an adult with kids of my own I can now appreciate how dedicated a teacher she was for us. Thank for you all that you have done for the children of Burlington.

I'm saddened to say goodbye to Mrs. Saxe. She was a wonderful human, an inspirational teacher. Her dry sense of humor, straighforward logic, helpful smile -- she was the epitome of her craft --- I spent lots of time with her as an AP Calc student --- she taught all of us the value of "Y-sub i" --- I can still see and hear her footsteps as she carried 400 pounds of textbooks from classroom to classroom. Condolences to her family -- we were all lucky to have her in our lives.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. I taught alongside Jean at BHS and after we had both retired, proctored SAT tests at the weekend. We would laugh about how we kept bumping into each other on those Saturday mornings. She was a lovely human being.

Mrs. Saxe was an incredible teacher for me at Burlington High School. She taught me the importance of critical thinking beyond the classroom. I’m very grateful to have had her as my teacher. Rest in peace Mrs. Saxe.

My sincere condolences to the Saxe family. I enjoyed teaching along side Jean for many years. She served on the NHS selection comittee for the 18 years that I was NHS advisor. I liked helping her with Math league home meets for many years. She was a great friend anf fellow teacher. from Ed Chapdelaine
