Mrs Landry was part of the A Teams Open Classroon concecp at Francis Wyman Middle School in 1976 where I was fortunate enough to have her as one of my teachers. She was always compassionate and kind. My deepest condolences to your family at this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy for Thelma's family. She was a wonderful, kind woman who was a great mentor for a new teacher at the old Center School in Burlington where I started teaching 6th grade. Almost all of us were first year teachers except Helen Goodner who had been teaching on a reservation in Oklahoma, (She hosted us many times at her home I think). She was shell shocked in a different way from the rest of us and Thelma was so kind to her as well as to us. She hosted us many times at her home on Winn St. I was always gratefull for her advice and support. I am so very sorry I will be unable to attend her services but am facing knee surgery and am having trouble walking. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Liz White
