Obituary of Richard Jones

Richard E. Jones passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Monday, September 30, 2013. The beloved husband of 25 years of Janet M. (Lanletta) he was 63 years old. Richard was born, raised and educated in Waltham. He was the son of the late Ernest and Mary Jones. He lived in Hudson, NH for 12 years and for the past 8 years had made his home in Litchfield, NH. Richard worked Comfed Savings Bank where he met his wife Janet. He also worked at Cambridge Trust in the Information Systems Department. For the last 20 years he had worked as an Assistant Manager at Home Depot. Richard led a full and active life and had many interests. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan, enjoyed golfing, and reading. He was true New England Sports Fan following the Bruins and the Patriots. Richard enjoyed traveling and spending time visiting with family. Richard was the beloved husband of Janet M. (Lauletta). Loving father of Ronald Connor of Aubrn, NH, Brian Connor & his wife Laura of Amherst, NH, Michelle Walker & her husband Sean of Daphne, AL, Andrea Jones of Natick, MA, Christopher Jones of Waltham, MA & Kaitlyn Jones of Waltham. Grandfather of Meagan & Riley Connor, Blaine, Chloe & Brody Walker. Great grandfather of Lucy. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
