Obituary of Roseanne Simone

Roseanne L. Simone lost her courageous battle with cancer and passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Monday, November 27, 2006. She was 51 years old. Roseanne was born in Woburn. She was raised and educated in the Winnmere section of Burlington and was a 1972 graduate of Burlington High School. Roseanne loved children and the elderly, which led her to have careers in both the Day Care Industry and the Home Health Care Industry. She also worked for a period of time as a Landscaper at both Heimlich and Mahoney’s Nurseries. Roseanne loved the ocean and lived for a period of time in Pompano Beach Florida. She also enjoyed traveling and had traveled throughout the United States. Roseanne was a spirited and loving woman who enjoyed many special times with her family and friends. She will be missed by all those who loved her. Roseanne is the beloved daughter of Eleanor Simone of Burlington and the late Joseph Simone, Jr. She is the loving sister of Theresa Simone of Woburn and Denise (Simone) Shea of Dracut. She is the loving niece of Joanne (Carbone) Margi of Burlington. She is the loving companion of Jim Columbus of Woburn. She is the loving aunt of Sherry Skehan & her husband Greg, Charles Shea, Jr. and Joe Shea. She is the great aunt of Marissa Skehan and cousin of Jolie Grow and Elaine Fisher. Roseanne is also survived by many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward V.
