Obituary of Michael Gallo
Michael J. Gallo a resident of Burlington for 14 years, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon, November 28, 2006. The husband of 62 years of Doris M. (DiGregorio), he was 82 years old.
Mr. Gallo was born and raised in Cambridge. He was the son of Italian immigrants the late Basilio and Jennie Gallo. Mr. Gallo was a veteran of World War II serving his country in the United States Marine Corps where he achieved the rank of Corporal. Mr. Gallo was a self-employed Landscaper. He enjoyed playing golf in his leisure and working in his yard. Mr. Gallo and his wife were “Florida Snowbirds” and for 45 years enjoyed spending their winters in the warmer climate of Florida. Mr. Gallo was a loving family man who was devoted to his wife Doris and his two daughters Janice and Patricia and their families.
Mr. Gallo is the beloved husband of Doris M. (DiGregorio). He is the loving father of Janice & her husband Bob Cooper and Patricia & her husband Jim Killilea all of Burlington. He is the grandfather of Michael Killilea, Matthew Killilea, Tyler Killilea, Scott Cooper and Kyle Cooper. He is presdeceased by a grandson Mark Killilea. Funeral Services were private.
