Obituary of Pearl Meyer
Pearl M. (White) Meyer, a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly at the Winchester Hospital on Tuesday evening, November 1, 2011. She was 74 years old.
Pearl was born in Woburn. She was the daughter of the late Pearley and Florence White. She was raised and educated in Burlington. Pearl worked for a period of time at Mercury Cleaners in Burlington but her primarily role in life was being a mother to her two sons as they were growing up. Pearl enjoyed knitting and would knit hats and mittens that would be donated to charity. She had a very close relationship with her sister Christine. They would go out together twice a week. They would go shopping or run errands together with her favorite destination being the “dollar store”! Pearl enjoyed working in her garden. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Pearl will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Pearl was the beloved mother of Arnold & his wife Christine of Derry, NH and Richard of Burlington. Loving sister of Christine Manoli of Burlington, James White of Tewksbury, John White of Derry, NH and the late William White and Jane Ferriera. Devoted grandmother of Paul, Nicole, Karl and Amanda Meyer. Graveside services will be held at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Bedford St., Burlington on Saturday, November 5 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
