John J. “Jack” Annese, Jr., President of Neuber Diamond Co. in Burlington, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Thursday, November 30, 2006, he was 70 years old. Jack was born in Charlestown. He was the son of the late John J. and Helen Annese. He was raised and educated in Somerville. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his country in the United States Army and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. Jack was employed for 54 years at Neuber Diamond Co. in Burlington which is a family owned business that specializes in Industrial Tool Manufacturing. He currently served as its President. Jack and his wife settled in Burlington in 1964 where they raised their two daughters and became an active member of the community. Jack was a Town Meeting member of 14 years and was a member of the Burlington Knights of Columbus. Jack enjoyed spending time in the summer at Wells Beach in Maine. He was a skilled woodworker. He also enjoyed reading. Jack’s family was very important to him. He loved his four grandchildren and always looked forward to the time he spent with them. Jack is the beloved husband of 46 years of Mary Ann (DiLeo). He is the loving father of Jacqueline & her husband Roy Moose of Tewksbury and Kathleen & her husband Richard Romeo of Pelham, NH. He is the brother of Robert of Bedford, Ralph of Winchester, Carole Anderson of Hill, NH, and Cheryl Annese of Woburn. He is the grandfather of Alexander & Sean Moose, Rachel & Victor Romeo. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, December 4 at 8 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
