Obituary of Lois Meserve

Lois J. (French) Meserve, passed away at the Park Avenue Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Arlington on Monday, January 1, 2014. The beloved wife of the late Raymond, Lois had just celebrated her 83 birthday on December 5th. Lois was born, raised and educated in Gloucester. She was the daughter of the late William and Celia French. Lois was a graduate of Beth Israel School of Nursing. She went on to have a successful career as a nurse working at several of the Boston Hospitals and in Winchester. Lois and her husband lived in CT for a few years when they were first married and then moved to Burlington where they lived until the mid 1970’s eventually moving to Framingham. Lois’s was a caregiver by nature and loved taking care of her patients as a nurse and her children in the role of mom. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Lois was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Meserve. She was the Loving mother of Jill Pappas & her companion Tom Doherty of Woburn, Jodi Race & her husband Bill of Freedom, NH, Neil Meserve of Framingham and Tracy Meserve of Mansfield. Mother-in-law of the late Patrick Pappas. Grandmother of Raychel, Kerry and Jesse Pappas all of Woburn. Funeral Services were private. Memorials in Lois’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements under the direction of the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, BURLINGTON.
