David was born and raised in Woburn. He was the son of the late Ralph and Catherine Harrigan. He went to St. Charles School and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston. He spent over 30 years working for the telephone company, during its many name changes including New England Telephone, Nynex and Verizon. He was a longtime member of the Klaxon Car Club. He has 4 antique cars, all 1930’s Fords. He painstakingly restored them making sure each was perfect. He had many friends who were car enthusiasts and they enjoyed talking cars, participating in classic car nights, tours, parades, and shows. David’s other interests he shared with family and friends were hunting, fishing, and camping.
