She made simple occasions seem special, like picnics at Simonds Park, ice cream at Kimball’s, feeding the ducks, or going out to lunch. Roberta was filled with love and kindness. Even after the passing of her husband and on a limited income, Roberta opened her home to foster children in need of a loving and caring home. Being a foster parent was not enough for Roberta, she knew those children needed a permanent home with a stable and loving parent, so she adopted 4 of her foster children.
