Dear Ellen,
I am so sorry and saddened for such a great loss. John was such a nich guy, to know him was to love him.
I know it will be hard for you for some time, but you'll always have so many wonderful, happy memories over the 38 years you've spent together whether alone, with friends, or with family. Hopefully, in time, those memories will put a smile back on your face.
I'll miss John!
