I feel so lucky to have had the privaledge of knowing Carl, as he being the father of my daughter Kathleen's loving husband Eric Poehler.
My sympathies are extended to all that knew and loved him, but oh such beautiful memories he left us with.

The family has had a great loss with Carls passing.What I remember of Carl as being was a strong, intelligent with silent presents and humbleness.Lets not forget some stubborness thrown in. 93 years wow! He has left a great and wonderful legacy which will live on for many generations.

We are very saddened to hear about you loss. While we never met Carl be we can see his passion in kite flying in Bill's passion for most everything. Peace to your whole family at this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss. I understand that Granka was quite the guy. Loved the obit particularly about his kite making and flying. Hope you all are OK and remember all the good times you had with this wonderful man. Our deepest sympathies to you all.
