Beauty is not in the mirror. True beauty is inside a person’s heart and soul. My mother was a beautiful woman, because she possessed and cultivated an inner beauty. While helping others, my mother became a better person herself, and in the end, that is what we all want to be, better people. I do not know of anything more special than a mother’s love. I am a better person and mother today because of the love I received from my mother. My mother taught me by example how to be strong. I have had mountains to climb in my life and I have known sadness and sorrow in my life. My mother taught me, it is okay to cry, but when the crying is over, get to work and do what needs doing. We all need a role model. We all need a generous friend. In my life, that person was my mother.
