Obituary of Carol Danielson

Carol A. Danielson, a resident of Billerica for 48 years passed away after a long illness on Thursday morning, April 17, 2014. She was 70 years old. Carol was born in Boston, the daughter of the late John and Josephine Cappello. Her family lived in Jamaica Plain until moving to Burlington when Carol was a teenager. She graduated from Burlington High School. She married her husband Richard in 1964 and they settled in Billerica in 1966 to raise their family. She had worked as a technician and inspector for Radionics in Burlington, Microwave Antenna Systems & Technology, and retired from Hamilton Avnet Electronics in Burlington and Peabody. Carol enjoyed working and her coworkers, but was much happier as a homemaker. She was devoted to her family and home. She had an open door and her children and their friends were always welcome. Her children went out on their own, and sometimes came back and that was just fine with Carol. Her home was the gathering place for her family and she was deeply involved in all her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She was always there with a helping hand, kind advice, and the unconditional support a mother shares with her family. She loved her home gardening, her plants, ceramics, her collection of owls and butterflies, and bird houses. There have been so many wonderful family memories shared around her kitchen table, pool, and in her backyard. She will be lovingly remembered for the affection, concern, and kindness she showered her family with. Carol was the loving wife of Richard Danielson, who had passed on just 5 months ago. She was the loving mother of Cheryl Paquette, Denise Stuart & her husband Edward, Richard Jr., and Mark & his wife Melissa all of Billerica. She was the proud grandmother of Heather, Nicole & Ryan Paquette, Joey Wiroll, Kyle & Amanda Stuart, and Alexa, Samantha, Brooke & Dylan Danielson. She was the daughter of the late John & Josephine Cappello. She was also predeceased by her siblings; Joanne Schuurman, John, Louis, and Stephen Cappello. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V.
