Obituary of Evelyn Watson

Evelyn (Harrison) Watson passed away at the Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Home on Sunday morning, December 17, 2006. The wife of the late Harold Watson she was 91 years old. Evelyn was born and raised in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Harrison. She worked for many years as a Cinema Cashier at both the Paramount and Aster Theaters in Boston. She lived for many years in Brighton before moving to Woburn and eventually Burlington. Evelyn enjoyed shopping, reading and cooking for her family. She always looked forward to family gatherings and especially enjoyed dancing at family weddings. Evelyn was blessed to have a wonderful life that spanned 91 years filled with many happy times spent with her family. Evelyn is the beloved wife of the late Harold. She is the loving mother of Wayne Durkin of Burlington, John Watson of Roslindale, Donna Watson of Burlington, Nancy Bannister of NH, and the late Donald Watson. She is the sister of Gertrude Rubin of FL, Grayce Bausch of FL, and the late Josephine Zolner and Joseph Harrison. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandsons. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Dec 20 at 8:00 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
