Obituary of Marita Terrasi
Marita (Reardon) Terrasi, passed away after a brief and courageous battle, surrounded by her family, on May 17, 2014. The beloved wife of the late Joseph she was 72 years old.
Marita was born in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Maria E. (Martignetti) Reardon. A 1958 graduate of St. Columbkille H.S., in Brighton, Marita worked as an administrative assistant in the family business for many years. Later she became a realtor for the DeWolfe Realty. Marita was formerly of Waltham and Florida, she and her late husband, Joe, enjoyed golfing and were members of the Charles River C.C, and P.G.A. National in Palm Beach Gardens. After Joe’s death, Marita moved to Hollis, NH to be closer to family, and was a member of Sky Meadow Country Club. An accomplished knitter and avid reader, she enjoyed studying astrology, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her recent trip to Italy with her cousins Olga Barbieri and Bunnie Alexander.
Marita was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Terrasi. Marita will be greatly missed by her devoted daughters Christine Sculos & husband Jason of Nashua, NH, and Andrea D’Agostino & husband Brian of Middleton, MA. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Shane D’Agostino & Rachael Sculos. Marita is survived by her brother Walter Reardon & his wife, Sharon of Leominster, MA and nephews Keith Reardon & (fiancé) Elaine Barba of Worcester, MA and the late Anthony Reardon & wife Alaina of Rhode Island. Also survived by her sister-in-law Marianne, brother-in-law Shred Arch of Framingham, MA and nephews Scott Arch & wife Susan of Yorktown Heights, NY, and Eric Arch of Charlestown, MA.
Family & friends are invited to a visitation that will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, May 22 from 4-7 p.m. Concluding with Funeral Services at 7 p.m. Appetizers & drinks will follow at Strega’s, 100 Sylvan Rd.
