Obituary of Stephen J. LaMarca
Stephen J. LaMarca, passed away unexpectedly at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Saturday, June 28, 2014, he was 56 years old.
Stephen was born, raised and educated in Burlington. He was a 1976 graduate of Burlington High School. He went on to graduate from Middlesex Community College with an Associate’s Degree. Stephen had a career in the biomedical field working as an Inside Sales Rep. He had worked at Kronos and most recently Nova Biomedical . Stephen had a passion for reading. He had an interest for the Kennedy Family and had read all the books on the history of the family and was considered somewhat of a historian on the subject. His life centered around his family and friends. He was very close to his nieces and nephews and was very proud of all their accomplishments. He had many long lasting friendships that he maintained throughout the years. Stephen was a very generous person always giving to others whether it was a local charity or a gift to his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a compassionate man who had a kind soul and who always thought of others first.
Stephen was the beloved son of Stephen S. & Jeanne (Pretty) of East Sandwich, formerly of Burlington. He was the loving brother of Linda Murray & her husband Kenneth of Billerica, Wayne of Woburn and Jeannine Mondello & her husband Jack of Haverhill. Stephen was the proud uncle of Christopher, Neil & Scott Murray and Robby, Matt, Marisa and John Jr. Mondello.
Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday July 1st from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Wednesday, July 2 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private. Memorials in Stephen’s name may be made to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center C/O Philanthropy, 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805
