To Louise and family...Such a fun , loving, funny , man has left us here . He will not suffer any longer and will be restored in his eternal rest. The memories of his funny sense of humor will pop up and remind us why Louise loved him. She always told me ..." He makes me laugh" Plus ..of course he is so cute. That blond hair.! Lou ,my friend ,I shared with you that funny moment when we were out on a double date and as we were in the elevator goin to our dinner reservation somewhere in Faneuil Hall he looks at us and starts singing "GIRL GIRLS,GIRLS" buy Motley Crew. I remember laughing so hard and he continued to sing even after the elevator door opened.I remember hearing bout when you knew you loved him Lou and when you both said it to each other. That love grew and grew in ways you never could imagine.i
Its your beautiful love that gave him the will to fight his cancer battle and his love gave you the strength to endure as you helped him through it.He loves you forever and you will one day be reunited ,but , until that time these memories and pictures and pieces of his life that we can hold onto will keep his personality and energy ALIVE. God Bless Mike may he rest in peace and may you and the family move forward being blessed to have lived some of your lives with him.Continue to laugh as he did and think positive as he did and enjoy life as he did ..all in honor of him..love you Lou...

I told my daughter today that my old friend and teammate had Mike Crocker passed. She asked if she knew him. I told her no but she asked about him. I told her Mike was the star of the show, the hero , the guy that you think of when you read a great book. I was 2 years younger than Mike but he was bigger than life. The guy with the greatest talent , the prettiest girl and the stature , personality and blond hair to make it all happen. To the Crocker clan I express my deepest sorrow, but assure you that your husband, son, brother, father and friend will live forever.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Louise and all of Michaels's family. As tremendously sad as we are, I can only think back on the many great times we all shared with Mike. His exuberant personality was certainly infectious. We first met Mike at Olson's camp in Hillsboro NH over 40 years ago, and from there the Legend of Crock began. There is no need to exaggerate when sharing your memories of Mike and the good times that we all had when he was around. If you didn't know Mike, you may not believe. For those of us who lived it, there is no doubt. All of us who were fortunate enough to be his friend can remember a time, a place, an event, that will make us smile, maybe shake our heads in disbelief and now laugh through our tears. You nailed it Grip, Mike was a force of nature. Crocks Legend will now live on through his family and many, many friends.

Louise and Family,
Diane and I share you sorrow at this moment in your lives. Knowing the love you shared for all these years is a testimony to you life together Louise.
I can only imagine the kind of Dad Mike could have been.
He had to have been a great Dad just by knowing him over these years. I'm more than sure you kids are proud of him.
Mike had a persona where he could sell the eskimo's Ice. That's how infectious his personality was.
That's the Mike I'll always remember. He was a wild and crazy guy.
I'm sure NO ONE would want it any other way.
I had the opportunity to work closly with him for Jimmy's fundraiser. Jim, I don't know of a Brother that could love you anymore.
When I heard of is bout with cancer I was devistaed. He of all people, didn't deserve this fate. This man didn't have a bad word to say of anyone, and always had his hand out to help.
As the year went by we didn't get to see much of eachother.
Last time I saw him he gave me a big hug and said, " Are still playin Hink?" I said yes, He replied. "Good Cause that's what you do best. Always be happy doing what you're doin. Life is too short."
I guess he was right.
I'm gonna miss him.

Well there aren't enough words to say how much Mike meant to all of us. Mike and our family go way back. As Billy said, there are so many laughs and fun times at the lake in Hillsboro NH. One in particular was when he didn't have a pair of ice skates that fit him so he cut the toes out and skated. That was Mike, on top of ripping his new sweater he got that Christmas. Or when we stole moms beer when we were 15yo and hid it down manahan so Greta and Barbara wouldn't find out. Or how about when he fell out of boat backwards and i'm driving boat with Debbie laughing not realizing he fell out and Debbie was laughing so hard she couldn't tell me! That was Mike! Always full of laughs!! There is no doubt he was the best husband and father anyone could be. He always had a smile on his face and would make you laugh even if you hadn't seen him in a while. Who knows why God takes the good ones first and he was just that. Mike will be missed more than anyone will know. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful wife Louise and his beautfiul children.... God bless you all...

So sorry to hear this news. Heartfelt condolences to Louise and his entire family. I had the privilege to play high school football with Mike and was on the field to witness that 300 yard, 4 TD day. Something to see. Even 37 years later, despite all his natural athletic ability I have also not forgotten him running the streets of Burlington with a weight vest on, or pushing himself in the weight room. He was a dedicated, driven guy even then. I will also not forget him showing up to my father's wake after he lost his own battle with cancer during our senior year. I was touched by touch that, as I'm sure he touched many others with his personality, generosity, and character over the years. God bless.

Louise, I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing and for your loss.
I will always remember the following, which clearly shows the type of man he was.
When I was in the 8th grade I was a running back in Pop Warner and Mike was my hero.
One day I saw Mike and went over and introduced myself and told him how great I thought he was.
Mike took the time that day to listen to me and I was so wide eyed that he did.
From that day forward whenever I saw him he would say "Hi Bri" and my day was made.
I watched him from then on and again was inspired when he began building homes, which was a dream of mine as well.
I sit here now and think;
I cheered for him on the field,
I cheered for him when he began building,
I cheered for his recovery when he was sick,
and I now cheer for his families hearts to heal.

Our condolences go out to the Crocker and DeLuca family. We have lost a true outdoorsman. It seems like just yesterday the gang from High School were taking trips to the Cape. I am going to miss fishing for stripers down the Vineyard with Mike. Unfortunately, Mike was unable to join my son Kenny and I last weekend down Vineyard. Kenny caught a 51 inch 46 pound striper. When he landed it he said "that was for Mike, dad". That was the type of influence he had on the kids!
God Bless,

Dear Louise and family, Michael’s pain and suffering has finally ended. Hopefully we will hurt a little bit less each day, but it will take time. Michael was a very special guy who made a positive impact on the world. All of the tributes that his friends have written prove that beyond a doubt.
Mike was a giver not a taker - a rare individual in this day and age. No matter what he was doing – he put his heart and soul into it. Whether it was being a role model for his children, being a loving husband to Louise, coaching a football team, or even building a house (we know from personal experience), Mike gave his very best effort all the time.
Mike fought harder and longer these past 4 years than most of us could possibly endure. I loved him dearly and I will miss his laugh, his humor his leadership and his friendship. Rest in peace Michael – you deserve it.

It's an extremely sad day for all of us. Our hearts go out to Louise, Curtis, Arielle, Cody and the entire Crocker and DeLuca families. We had our "gang" in high school, Vinny, Riles, The Bernoth Brother, Bobbie Ganley.. but Mike was always the one that made our times together special. Whether we were water skiing in NH, or diving for lobsters off of Magnolia, it was always fun to be with Mike. We will all miss him dearly.

I spent a lot of time with Mike during High School. We worked out many days before the football season started and ran the bleachers at the high school in 100 degree weather. I learned much about dedication, commitment, hard work and never giving up. Of course no one was better at pranking and having a good time than Mike. I will remember his laugh and smile, very contagious. There were many great memories. Never a dull moment. He was loved by many. We will all miss him. The best of the best.
