Obituary of Susan Lewis

Susan (Yetman) Lewis a longtime employee of the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, passed away Wednesday morning, August 13, 2014 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was 61 years old. Susan was born in Everett, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty Yetman. She grew up in Burlington and was a graduate of Burlington High School Class of 1970. She went onto to work at Arkwright Insurance in Waltham for over 15 years and then spent the last 14 years working at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. Her current position was that of Senior HRIS Records Administrator. She really enjoyed her work, coworkers, and being part of the Lahey Clinic family. Susan has been a resident of Billerica for the past 30 years. She was a loving and caring mother and a very proud grandmother. Susan willed herself to live long enough to see the birth of youngest grandchild who came into this world just 6 days ago. She leaves her family with wonderful memories filled with love. Susan was the loving mother of Melissa Passalaqua & her husband William of Billerica and Matthew Lewis of Lowell. She was the sister of Steven Yetman & his wife Debbie of Billerica. She was the proud grandmother of Jason, Stella, & Logan Passalaqua. She was the aunt of Brian Yetman of Billerica. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, Aug. 15 from 4-7 p.m. and will conclude with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
