Stephanie and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. You have been in my prayers. We were away in Montreal and so we could not attend the wake. Please know your father's love and humor will live on. His legacy is his children and the wonderful adults you've become.
Love to all.

Dear, Rose,Nicholas,Stephanie,Angela and Tony I am so very sad to learn of Joe's passing. He was a Great Friend and was always so proud of his family. I remember many days at your home in Wakefield, he would smile as he would tell me about something jumbo (Tony) just hate, or how pretty "his Stephanie" looked, You kids were his life. He was always so quick to invite us in, feed us and make us feel like we were part of your family. He once even let me cut his hair, (who does that?) One hour later he was at the barber getting his head shaved. (my bad). I could go on and on. He will be truly missed!
My deepest sympathy's to you all.
Sincerely, Jim Agganis

My contact with Joe was many years ago, when he was in Operations Support. He was many things knowledgeable, helpful, kind and patient. He seemed as though on the outside he would just be a big teddy bear, loved and respected by many. My heartfelt sympathes go out to the Leccese immediate and extended family.

Didn't really know Joe that well while working with the Postal Service. As Facebook Friends I have really enjoyed his posts about food, and places he traveled with his lovely wife (especially Atlantic City). I came to know Joe through FB and have a deep respect for his love of his family, which was so evident. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. RIP Joe

Joe was the best. He taught me so much when he was in OPS support and helped me in my career as a Postmaster along the way. He was special, even tempered and a wonderful leader. He will be missed by everyone who came in contact with him. I am just so sorry he passed in such a short time after retirement.
