Obituary of Donald St. Laurent II
Donald A. St. Laurent, II, a man who loved his family, friends, and people in need, passed away tragically on Friday night, Dec. 2, 2011. He was 29 years old.
Donald was born in Winchester and lived in Reading until eighth grade where he excelled in football and baseball. He was a graduate of Lincoln Sudbury High School and had lived in Billerica for a number of years before moving to Hudson, NH. His friends and family described him as kind, loving, and adventurous. He co-owned Good Guys for Hire where he worked as a roofer and carpenter. He prized the world around him appreciating its beauty and diversity. He took the opportunity to travel around the country, seeking out adventures, challenges, and embracing new life experiences. He loved the outdoors and camping. He particularly was drawn to the ocean and beaches. He was kind and would seek out those in need, offering a lending hand. It wasn’t unusual for Donald to hop in his car and drive 5 hours to visit a friend or family member. He was interested in life, man’s survival, and seeing the big picture. He loved his family and friends, sharing time, experiences, and laughter with them. His life was cut short tragically, but he experienced and saw more than most would see in a lifetime. His death will be difficult to accept, but he will remain forever in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.
