How lucky we all are to have known Auntie Joan's sensitivity, love, expression, good-times, rhythm, singing (oh boy!) and matter-of-fact stay on life. Her raspy fun-lovin' voice lingers in my mind, especially during family parties and weddings. How lucky I feel that I was able to have some quiet and alone-moments with her last summer during one of her good days. I have a special place for her, as so many do.
