Virginia C. (Johnson) Williams, a longtime resident of Woburn, passed away after a long illness at the Winchester Hospital on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. The beloved wife of the late James R. Williams, she was 83 years old. Virginia was born in Everett. She was the daughter of the late John and Christine Williams. She was raised and educated in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. She worked for a brief period as a Nurse’s Aide at the Glendale Nursing Home in Woburn and then stayed home to raise her family. Virginia enjoyed gardening and shopping. She enjoyed watching television and her favorite show “two and a-half men”. Virginia loved being with people whether it be her grandchildren, her son and his wife or her many friends who visited her. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late James R. Loving mother of John S. of CA, Sandra Livingston & her husband Dennis of CO and James R. Jr. & his wife Francine of Pepperell. Sister of the late Barbara Trawick, John Johnson and Lawrence “Buddy” Johnson. Also survived by 5 grandchildren & one great grandchild. Funeral Services were private.
