Obituary of Catherine Marie Reinold

Catherine “Marie” (Elligson) Reinold, a woman who devoted her life to her family and her faith, passed away at the Winchester Hospital with her family by her side on Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014. The beloved wife of the late James H. Reinold, who passed away in 2010, she was 76 years old. Marie was born, raised and educated in Severna Park Maryland. She met her future husband Jim while he was stationed in Maryland during the Korean War. They moved to Massachusetts and were married on June 21, 1958. Marie worked as a Home Health Aid and at Middlesex County Hospital in Waltham for 13 years but her primarily role was that of wife and mother. Marie and her family enjoyed vacationing at the seashore whether it was visiting family in Chesapeake Bay in Maryland or locally with cousins in Marshfield. Marie was a woman of deep faith and for many years would attend the 7:30 a.m. Mass at St. Margaret’s in Burlington followed by breakfast at Bickfords with Father Crispo. Marie had many interests that included reading, doing puzzles and computer games. Marie was proud to see her four children grow into adulthood and raise their own families and was blessed to see the birth of her first great grandchild. Marie was the beloved wife of the late James H. Reinold. She was the loving mother of James H. Reinold Jr. & his wife Angela of Billerica, Julianne Potenza of Harvard, Thomas Reinold & his wife Beth of Sutton, and Kelly Ann Leanza & her husband Salvatore of Sudbury. Sister of Kay Moose of NC. Proud Grandmother of Sean, Patrick, Haley, Trevor, Brittanie, Cody & Olivia Reinold, Anthony & Amanda Potenza, Nicholas, Gianna & Sara Leanza. Great Grandmother of Autumn. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 6-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
