Obituary of Adeline DeNegri
Adeline DeNegri, passed away on Saturday night, December 6, 2014 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Burlington, MA. She was 90 years old.
Adeline had moved to Burlington 7 years ago to be with her family. Adeline was born in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Emanuel and Gaetana Vitale. She grew up in Paterson and was a graduate of East Side High School. She married her husband Fred in 1948. She was blessed to have a close relationship with her daughter Marlene, son-in-law Mark and granddaughter Laura. She had last worked as a clerk for a manufactures representative. Adeline was a very proud American. She was active in local politics for a number of years. She had resided in Tom’s River New Jersey for 11 years and Wyckoff, NJ for over 30 years.
Adeline was the beloved wife of the late Fred P. DeNegri. She was the loving mother of Marlene Woods & her husband Mark of Burlington, MA. She was the proud grandmother of Laura Woods of Burlington, MA. Sister of the late Carmen Vitale, Angelina Kappel, and Mary Ottavio.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 12 at 9:30 am at St. Anthony’s Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Ave, Hawthorne, NJ. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Adeline’s name may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 Cummings Park Dr, Woburn, MA 01801 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Dr., Natick, MA 01760.
