Obituary of John Lee
John “Jack” Lee, a retired Analyst from John Hancock, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Cambridge. He was 66 years old. John was born in Arlington. He was raised and educated in Burlington and a 1966 graduate of Burlington High School. After high school Jack went on to attend U Mass. He lived in Boston for a number of years before settling in Cambridge where he lived for the past 26 years. Jack travelled extensively through Europe visiting such destinations as Venice, Italy, Sweden and Denmark. He had a passion for the arts enjoying plays, movies and music most especially classical Jazz. Jack worked at John Hancock for many years retiring as a Systems Analyst. He made many friendships at John Hancock and continued to keep in touch with them gathering on Thursday’s for lunch.
Jack was the beloved companion of the late Gene Meyer. He was the son of the late John and Mildred. Brother of Bob & his wife Bunny of Framingham. Nephew of Donald, Barbara and Carol Lee. Uncle of Robert Jr., Kristina, Patricia and Jo Anna Lee. Great Uncle of Joshua, Nicholas, Lilli and Jonathan .
Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, Dec. 19 from 6-8 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Jack’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
