Obituary of Peggy Conway

Margaret Ann 'Peggy' Conway, , 75, of Burlington, Mass. died unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday December 13, 2014 surrounded by her family. Peggy was born on January 26, 1939 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Grace and Bill Meehan, sister to Deborah Meehan & her husband Perry Gates of Camden, Maine and Robert Meehan of Boxford. She was married to her best friend, John Conway, for over 50 years. Peggy was a proud and devoted stay at home mom whose life focused on her family and raising three loving sons. She is survived by sons, Brian and his wife Rose Conway of Charlton, Craig Conway of Burlington and Shaun Conway of So Dennis. She was the proud grandma to Allyson and Melanie Conway and, as an avid reader, instilled a love of books in them. Peggy loved her summers on Cape Cod, particularly Cold Storage Beach, her lifelong friendships with &quote;the girls&quote; and traveling with her husband. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
