Obituary of Richard Todd

Richard S. Todd, passed away at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center on Saturday evening, January 24, 2015. The beloved husband of 25 years of Diane (Riley) he was 75 years old. Dick was born in Somerville. He was raised and educated in East Boston. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. He was very proud of his service to his country. Dick had a long career working for the FAA as an Electronic Technician. He enjoyed fishing and reading. He made ship models, which was a hobby that took extreme patience to do. He was a past member of the Tewksbury and Wilmington Elks where he was a bartender during his retirement years. Dick was the beloved husband of Diane (Riley). Loving father of Rosemary of Jefferson, Jennifer Zani & her husband Joseph of Tewksbury, Deborah of FL, Raquel of Lawrence & Rebecca of Haverhill. Step-father of Kristen Robak of NH, Kenneth Robak of ME & Keith Robak of PA. Brother of Francis Roberts of Plymouth, Pete Cogswell of VA, Rita Todisco of East Boston, Jeannie Hunt of FL, Steve Cogswell of Middleboro & Mary Cogswell of East Boston. Grandfather of Dillon & Danielle Biase, Katrina & Joshua Todd and Mia Zani. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 5-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorials in Dick’s name may be made to the Salvation Army, 147 Berkeley St., Boston, MA 02116-5197.
