Joan and Harry, both only children, wanted a large family. They would have 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Joan cherished her role of wife, mother, and homemaker. Her home was filled with love, laughter, and memories. She enjoyed baking in her kitchen, summer camping vacations, her home, and seeing her children and grandchildren enjoying life together. Joan had her own interests as well, which included knitting and crocheting, ceramics, soap operas, and shopping. In her final years as her Alzheimer’s progressed, her family returned her love as they affectionately cared for her in her home. Joan was the beloved wife of 55 years of Harry C. Riley.
