I do want everyone at the service to know that Mr. Raymondi was very instrumental in helping a generation of Harvard dental students learn how to do outstanding dental laboratory work. What was so great was that he did it without talking down to the students, like too often happens in dental school. He was always very positive, and happy to go above and beyond to help. He was one of the true gems at Harvard.

We mourn the loss of our friend, Frank. He joined the staff of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1964, and he and Harold Velleman were made honorary members of the Class of '66 in 1996. He and Edna returned to our reunions in 1996, 2001, and 2006, and he was the hit of the evening in 2011 at our 45th reunion (and with the other 5-year classes that were there). He was friend to all and a knowledgeable mentor, saving us with our dental laboratory work when we made the inevitable mistakes as dental students. Frank and I have stayed in touch all these years, especially after the loss of his beloved Edna. Rest in peace, my friend.

Liz, your dad will live forever, in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. I can honestly say that he was a pleasure to be around, God knows the man had wisdom beyond what one could have imagined. I sat with him on more than one occasion and could say without reservation that he was a wealth of information, he had an incredible sense of humor and it didn't take long to realize that he was highly respected and loved. I am sure that he will be missed by his many students and all who took the time to know him. I for one will never forget him, it was a pleasure to meet such a remarkable man. God will surely open the gates of heaven to his servant, Frank Raymondi.

Liz, sorry cannot make Frank's funeral. Like Frank we that are up in age and don't get around much. Frank was loved by all at the Woburn Senior Center. Every Wednesday for breakfast everyone (especially the ladies) would gather around Frank and shower him with kisses. The smile on his face signaled his approval. We all miss his stories and his counsel. You had a wonderful father.

To say that Frank Raymondi was one of a kind would be the understatement of the century. He was a man who was quietly remarkable in every way. Even nearing 100 years old, he was a force to be reckoned with, and received the dignity that he so richly deserved right up until his passing. He loved life, and watching him, it made you love it too. I am happy to have met him as his daughter Liz's childhood friend when he was a vibrant enthusiastic young father, and again when he was in his mid-nineties and equally as alive and inspiring.
When God made Frank, he knew he was a keeper, and heaven will be richer for his presence.

Liz, your dad made an incredible impact on me. I loved the time I spent with him and having him talk, I felt like I was in the company of a dear man who had great wisdom. I cannot wait until one day when I sit at the feet of the Almight God and listen to him speak. I felt when I talked with your dad that he had the wisdom of a great man. I know that you were such a great daughter and loved your dad with a great love that he is missed but you will see him one day again. Let the hope of that be your strength. May God bless you and Bill. Much love Diane and Rich
