I worked with Ann for many years at Symmes hospital. At the time we both had young children and worked part time on the evening shift. Ann was a terrific and compassionate nurse. Additionally, she was fun with a great sense of humor. She was a gift to our profession, to her patients, and for many years, to my life.
Heaven must be celebrating their new addition.

To Joe, Michael, Kathy, and Kevin our sincere and heartfelt condolence for your devastating loss. Ann was one of the most vibrant, dynamic, talented, and fun-loving people we've ever known - full of love, life, joy and laughter. Tough when she needed to be, yet a good, kind, selfless, thoughtful and compassionate person with a huge, loving heart. Filled with inner beauty, she always seemed to be motivated by a voice within commanding her to give of herself and to help others, clearly exhibited in her top flight nursing career
choice where she brought solace and comfort to so many Lahey Clinic Hospital patients and families. She was a special, caring human being who would do whatever was needed to make things better for others, following the command of Jesus to "love one another." She will always live in our hearts as "Auntie Ann," Godmother of the precious gift she brought into our lives. We smile and laugh at the wonderful shared memories of camping trips, BC football tailgate parties and games, cruises to Bermuda, Hawaii, Alaska and other "BC Gang" escapades. What a wonderful blessing God has given to all of us who knew her. As someone once said, "As long as we have the capacity to give, we are alive." Ann surely lived life to its fullest. May Ann rest in peace in the arms of her Savior.

Ann was one of my favorite parents to sit with at sports events. She was so funny and quick witted. We shared the same humor about being a Mom. Once you met her you never forgot how good she made you feel. Condolences to Joe, Michael, Kathy and Kevin from the Brush family. I am sure the journey has been tough.
