I totally forgot about Girl Scout band! I remember Mr. Z having us march around Crystal Circle. Around and around! Neighbors came out to watch us. We certainly were prepared to march in the parade up Bedford St! The hill was tough but we did it! Thanks to Mr. Z!!!

I am deeply grieved from reading this obituary. I have known Frank since the age of 10 when I started my first Accordion lesson in 1961.
I played my first gig with Frank when I was 13 and remained friends all my life. I never thought this day would come.
My heart goes out to Joan and all the family.

I really enjoyed visiting with Francis whenever I walked my dog. I told him I was born in Ware, MA. and he mentioned it every time we spoke. He loved his music and the USA. I will miss him and his stories very much.

My wonderful Mr. Z, When I was in the second grade coming home from school I was attacked by a vicious dog. You came out and pulled the dog off me. You saved me! You taught me to play The Sting on the piano and I think I am so cool because I can still play it. You taught Don the accordion and my Mom was so proud. You played the accordion at my Grandmother's Birthday party. Everyone had so much fun. You always watched out for every one of us on Crystal Circle. Bobby, Eddie and Carl... thank you for sharing your Dad with us. Joan... you are so special. I will stop by to visit. Thank you for being such an awesome neighbor. My Mom and Dad thought the world of you both. I will miss you. Mr. Z.... I love you and all the wonderful memories you gave me. You will remain in my heart forever!

My heart is broken with your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of my accordion lessons with Mr. Z. His patience was so wonderful when it took forever to get a song down right! I have memories of those group lessons learning how to play at a wedding or anniversary party. I remember it all! I also remember playing for the veterans and Bedford 4th of July celebrations. One thing that I always remember was Mr. Z always had the guys carry the heavier things for us girls. Perhaps a lesson? I ran into Mr. Z a few years ago in market basket. It was such a surprise and great to see him. I am so sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained a great accordion player! Everyone will be dancing and singing! Thinking of you all....
