Obituary of Vincent Gnerre
Vincent J. Gnerre, passed away at the Carney Hospital in Boston on Saturday morning, May 9, 2015, following a brief illness. He was 81 years old. Vincent was born in Boston. He was the son of the late Felice and Giovana Gnerre. He was raised in the North End of Boston. Vincent was a veteran of the Korean War serving his country in the United States Army. After the service he lived in Medford and Billerica before settling in Burlington in the 1990’s. He was the owner of Sunshine Window Cleaning for over 14 years. Vincent was proud to be a member of AA in Burlington for 32 years. He had many special friendships within his close circle of friends at AA in Burlington. Vincent also had a special relationship with Deborah and her family.
Vincent was the beloved friend of Deborah Torre & her family of Dracut. Father of Gina Lunardo, Maria Gnerre, Donna Barber & Ronald Fronduto, Jr. Brother of C. Gerald of Belmont, Anthony of Florida and the late Joseph. Also survived by many grandchildren.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, May 15 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. Interment with Military Honors in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers memorials in Vincent’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
