IN MEMORY OF
I lost a real Dear Friend
who's face I'll see no more,
unless we meet again someday
on Heaven's Golden Shore.
I prayed for his salvation
every night and every day,
that he would give his soul to God
before he went away.
And though I'll miss him very much,
I know it's best for her,
the pain that he was going through
was too much to endure.
So Father if he's there with You,
please tell my Friend for me,
I pray that when my time is through
His face again I'll see.

I first met Don at one of those winter fishing meetings where we would pass the time talking fishing until we could be in the surf again. We met up a couple times every year comparing plugs we had made and looking forward to the coming season. He made me feel like we were lifelong friends, but I think he had that effect on all who were fortunate to have known him.... The man epitomized dignity and Class. I was glad to have known him. Tight lines, my friend.

So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Don at De Stefano Studios for several years. He was a funny man with a twinkle in his eye...a real gentleman. I remember him speaking so lovingly about his family. My kids were still rather young and he always said that before I knew it they would not only be my children but my freinds, so very true. May his family find comfort in their memories and may Don rest in peace. With sorrow, Laura

Dear Barbara and family,
I'm so deeply saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was the finest neighbor and friend! He truly cared deeply for others, sharing his many gifts for carpentry, gardening, and a "little bit of everything"! I have so many childhood memories of Don "coming to the rescue" at 8 Maple St! I will always remember our special shutters with the "D" on them that Don made for us! And I always loved the little built-in bookcases he made for our bedroom.
I wish you peace and love at this difficult time.

Mrs. Shaw, Debbie, Jeff, Stephanie, Katrina:
Mr. Don Shaw was a wonderful friend and neighbor to my entire family for so many years.
He is remembered for his generosity of time and talent in supporting my parents for which I am very grateful. There are many times when I am trying to fix something in my own home and think "I wish Don Shaw were here. He would know exactly how to fix this!"
Thank you Don. You are in my prayers.

My deepest condolences to Barbara and the entire Shaw family. Don was a great man and a wonderful neighbor. I will always remember how generous he was with his time, as he assisted my parents over many years with house- hold fixes. Growing up next door, I will warmly recall the many conversations I had with "Mr. Shaw", from fishing, boats, and tools; in fact he gave me my first hammer.
He certainly was a positive influence on my life.
Sincerely,
Mark Delaney

Dear Barbara and family,
I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was a true friend and neighbor. He possessed a kind and generous heart, always willing to share his many gifts and talents with those lucky enough to know him! Whether it was gardening, carpentry, or a "little bit of everything", Mr. Shaw was always "to the rescue" at 8 Maple St. I will always remember the shutters he made for our house, personalized with a capital "D" and our "built-in" bookcases that he built for all our little treasures and books!
Wishing you peace and love at this difficult time,

I had the pleasure of knowing Don through the MBBA and the Striped Bass fishing community. A true gentleman and a pleasure to talk to about fishing and making fishing lures. My deepest condolences to his family.

So sorry for your loss. Although I never met him, his presence will be missed in all the work he did for the fishing community. That loss is in no way comparable to the loss his family must feel, so my prayers are with them. May he rest in peace.
