Obituary of Patricia Peach
Patricia “Trisha” Peach, a registered Nurse, passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, June 1, 2015. She was only 60 years old.
Trisha was born in Stoneham, the daughter of the late Walter and Rita Doyle. She grew up in Burlington. She was a graduate of Burlington High School, Class of 1972 where she was a cheerleader and all around athlete. She married Robert Peach and they raised their 3 sons in Burlington. Trisha was a graduate of Middlesex Community College in 1991 with her associated degree and Northeastern University 2002 with her bachelor’s degree. She worked in a wide variety nursing fields. She had worked at Massachusetts General Hospital for 9 years. She was the Director of School Nurses for the Burlington School Department. She also worked at Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge and Deaconess Abundant Life in Concord. Over the years she has worked part-time at the Lahey Clinic, Winchester Hospital and as a clinical instructor at the MA School of Pharmacy. She loved being a nurse, caring for her patients and their families and making life saving decisions on a daily basis. She was a special angel to all those she touched during her many years as a nurse.
Trisha embraced life and celebrated the time spent with her family and friends. Her husband Bob was her best friend. They did everything together. The enjoyed boating and enjoyed many a summer day on their boat, ”Thick Harp”. They enjoyed riding motorcycles with Bob driving and Trisha behind enjoyed the ride and scenery. They both enjoyed skiing always pushing each other down the mountain. The both loved to travel visiting Europe, the Caribbean and all sorts of other destination in and out of the United States. As a mother, Trisha was caring, supportive, fun, and firm. She lived for her sons always encouraged them to do their best and never stopped loving them. She was devoted to her parents and the one and only sister to her 5 brothers. And finally, she loved being a grandmother! Her grandchildren were so special to her. After mothering 3 boys and having 5 brothers she was so happy to have 3 daughter in-laws and 3 beautiful granddaughters. She always had at least two pets at a time whom she treated as kids. Trisha also had a large circle of friends from her work, growing up, neighborhood, or just acquaintances. Trisha had a huge heart filled with kindness, care, comfort, and love.
Trisha was the beloved wife of Robert W. Peach. She was the loving mother of Mark & his wife Stephanie of Burlington, Ryan & his wife Heather of Burlington and David & his wife Kathryn of Dighton. She was the caring daughter of the late Walter & Rita Doyle. She was the only sister to Paul Doyle of Wakefield, David Doyle of Litchfield, NH, Stephen Doyle of Woburn, Matthew Doyle of Himeji, Japan, and the late Kevin Doyle. She was the extremely proud grandmother of Ella Patricia, Lilliana, and Natalie.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128/95, Woburn side) on Friday, June 5 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Trisha’s name may be made to the Trisha Peach Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA 01803.
